The shoot is a week away and I'm still looking for extras. So I figured I'd repost this.
I'm looking for male extras for "Mayday on the Mystic!", the opening scene of the jazz-age fairy tale The Ballad of Burd Janet. The scene takes place at a union rally in observance of International Worker's Day (and features recent Rumble winner Reverend Glasseye as the union leader).
The shoot will take place on 25 June at a park outside of Medford Square. Call is at 8:30 for a 9:30 shoot. We have use of the park until 3:30, so plan on staying until then. You must come in costume. Since you'd be playing union members and laborers, the costume calls for white button-down shirts (a little worn-down is fine), dark pants, overalls, suspenders, tweed jackets that have seen better days, newsboy hats, old fedoras, and the like. (You probably have many of these items in your closets.)
Additionally, I will have a meeting for the extras on June 21st. This is mostly to discuss the shoot and the role the extras will play. It should last about an hour and a half. It's not mandatory, but it's very helpful for myself and the crew.
This position is non-paid. We will feed you on set, you will receive credit in the final cut, and you will get a DVD of the completed short.

By extrapolating from today's date (Jun 19th) and your text ("The shoot is a week away") I make the assumption that the shoot is Sunday, June 26th. But you might want to edit your original posting to make this explicit.
