Mad props to the Somerville streets department. I live over on School Street and emailed them about a pothole that opened up that was threatening to swallow my car whole. 3 days later, I come home from work and found the hole filled in and patched up.

That's good. I only wish they'd bother cleaning the streets anywhere east of Central Street. Yuck.

I wonder what's up with that. We have to move our damn cars, but on some sweeping days they don't send the sweeper, but will send it on other days that aren't sweeping days. Still a few bugs in the system there. But for now, I'm happy I don't have to worry about trashing the suspension in my car.

Heh, they have incentive... from the moment the hole is reported they are liable for any damage done to vehicles. :)
