Fire in Magoun Square

There is currently a fire in Magoun Square. I cannot say for definite and am not currently near the scene any more, but it looks to be at least very close to the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA) clubhouse.

I'm hoping for minimal property damage and no loss of life.

This tweet claims it's an upper-floor porch fire and now under control. I hope that's true.

Yeah original tweet in that thread was me, we were at Magoun Saloon for lunch and suddenly...FIREFIGHTERS!!

Thank you for correcting my mistakes--I tried to keep from overspeculation but given what limited stuff I could see I made the best guesses I could. I hope you were able to leave the area easily enough (and still have lunch).

Two alarm fire shuts Medford Street

It was at least 2 alarm, was an electrical fire and not arson, was on the second floor porch area of the building and no one was hurt but a firefighter who got clipped by some siding. They did have to tear apart most of the walls, etc to find the electrical fire, so I think the residents have been displaced. Most of this was found out by asking my Alderman, Courtney O'Keefe who was on the scene as they were cleaning up making sure people were ok and had places to stay. There are also some juicy rumours that the house had more units than it should have, but not confirmed.
