Kayak storage?

I live in Davis Square, and I have a kayak that I want to store somewhere not too far away (or somewhere T accessible) so I can use it maybe once a week. I don't mind paying for storage, so long as my kayak is adjacent to some water. I looked into the wonderful Charles River Kayak, and their T-accessible storage is expensive. Can anyone recommend a good spot / body of water to keep my kayak?

You could put a flyer up on the message board at Spy Pond in Arlington (intersection of Linwood Street and the bikeway). That's a nice place to kayak, and you can get there very easily via the 77 bus. I bet someone in that neighborhood has space in their garage.

I was wishing that the city would allow some public storage at the Blessings boathouse. I wouldn't even know who to ask for that though.

Jim Halloran at the city of Somerville Recreation Department is in charge of that facility.

We sttled on CRCK at Kendall, despite the expensive pricing. Unfortunately, they were the only viable option we found.
