Banks with safe deposit boxes nearby?

I need a safe deposit box that's easy to get to on the Red line - can you help? Or suggest specific banks I could call? Thank you.

take a look at old posts with the banking tag (which I added to your post)

Edited to add: Do not choose Bank of America on Highland Ave. for this service!

The Middlesex Federal (http://middlesexfederal.com/) branch in the heart of Davis Square has safe deposit boxes (http://middlesexfederal.com/OTHERSERVICES#safedeposit). IIRC the rate is $30/year for a small box, and they might still have the promotion where you get a year for free if you open a checking account.

TD Bank in Central Square has safe deposit boxes with weekday and weekend access hours.
There's also a Harvard Square branch, but I'm not sure if they have safe deposit boxes.

You need a TDBank account to have a box.
