Tailor?

Hi Friends,

I've grown increasingly dissatisfied with my tailor and am looking for a new one. Being 4'11" tall, I do need this service frequently (as does my Dad, although, he's not as little as me). Is there someone that you recommend? I'd like to stay local, but will travel for talent.

I'm 4'9".. I feel your pain. Will stick around to see others' replies.

Zoya in Teele did a great job on a few small jobs for me. She's not cheap but she's good. http://zoyadesigns.com/

I got my used tux tailored for me at Jack's Tailoring in Porter Square based on recommendations either here or yelp, can't remember. I was satisfied, though I'm not an expert, so I can't offer an informed review.

I use the dry cleaners at the corner of Mass Ave and Cherry St in Porter Sq (the name escapes me) . Very courteous and nice people, I've only had pants done (hems and waists) but they did fine with those. Just picked up a pair of corduroys $1 0 for a hem job that he troubled to double stitch because it matched the original. I don't know if they do more complicated tailoring, though.

two suggestions

I've really liked Chris Fine Tailoring in Teele Square (Broadway) and also Simeon Tailor on Bishop Allen Drive in Central Square.
