detailing?

Hey all! Can anyone recommend a good place to get my car detailed without costing a fortune?

Also, somewhere that does alignments that's local and trustworthy?

I'd love to know the answer to the detailing question as well. I could go look in a phone book, but I'm looking for peoples' personal experiences.

I have noted that Allston Car Wash (http://www.allstoncarwash.com/) has been voted "Best Car Wash & Best Car Detailing" by Boston Magazine for 4 years.

I doubt that means it's cheap, but it's probably worth looking into.

I'm trying to spiff mine up with the idea of selling or trading it in....

I'm looking to supplement my income a bit, so I'm offering myself for detailing jobs. I can bring all my own tools (minus vacuum cleaner and/or power washer) and I do proper hand washing only. I can do the works: Rims, windows, dash, seats, etc. but my specialty is body exterior cleaning and waxing. I'm thinking of 20 dollars for smaller jobs and 50 for the full program. That includes stuff like Meguiar's car wash, Turtle wax, Armor All, etc.

Let me know if you're interested and we'll work something out. My email is phaedras@gmx.net.

You know, I've been thinking...I believe the vaccums at the drive in/thru car washes around here seem to be the wet/dry kind. I've done seat cleaning before (coffee...though it smelled as if someone had spit chewing tobacco all over the place and then it had a chance to develop mold, and THEN someone spilled coffee over it ;-)) so there's a good chance I can do something about.

I don't know how extensive the damage is but I'm willing to take a look at it. My phone number is 617-666-1680. Ask for Erik.
