Plane noise incoming Tuesday noon-12:30

Navy Blue Angel fighter jets will fly over Boston around noon-12:30 Tuesday.
Now you can be a little less surprised if you hear the roar of 5 fighter jets buzzing the city.

(Noon) Thanks – didn't know about this. Just heard one fly over and ducked, waiting for the crash.

(I just love being buzzed by my tax dollars. . .)

Or, you know, now I can get an answer relatively quickly *after* I'm terrified, because that's when I thought to check LJ.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks for letting us know! I was just going to ask WTF an airplane was doing flying so low over my house twice in five minutes.

They just made three passes over my place! Whoa… low and tight. Freaky.

.....Why??

Hunh. Those airframes didn't look like F/A-18's.

Why on earth are they here? They're not scheduled for anything that I can find.

That was so awesome!

Heard them 3 times, and twice they came right over my house in formation.

Wish you posted this on the Porter Square Neighborhood Association listserv too. Most had no idea what the noise was.
