massage place recommendations

My lower back is killing me (not in the need-medical-attention way, just the gardening-all-weekend and then kayaking was a bit too much) and I was wondering if people knew where around the Cambridge/Somerville/Medford area I could get a good massage without having to have reserved it weeks ago. (Reasonable prices and Blue Cross/Blue Shield discount a plus, but not required.)

Any recommendations or negative recommendations?

I've had wonderful massages from Gordon at Massage Therapy Works (http://massagetherapyworks.com/), and you can reserve online (and they have a waitlist for ASAP appointments, it looks like).

Also, you can get cheaper massages from students at the Muscular Therapy Insititue (http://www.mtiweb.edu/center/index.html). I had a good experience with a staff person there (prenatal, so perhaps not what you're looking for!), and an okay experience with a student, but it IS $30!

MTI just moved to watertown square, and also the student clinic is pretty booked up for the first couple of weeks I think.

Dorea D'Agostino in Central is the bomb, and not too expensive (discounts for co-op members and feminists).

I've been to Susan Liao (slmassage.com (http://www.slmassage.com/)) a couple times, and she's really good, though she isn't cheap. She's in Central Sq.
