Any other NPR listeners out there?
I heard an interview on NPR recently (the past two or three weeks.... I think) regarding Sarah Palin. The interview was with a Reverend Someone or another was saying that he thought she was qualified to lead the country but not to lead a church because the Baptist interpretation of the Bible says women cannot lead congregations. It was a woman doing the interview.
He was the author of a book with a subtitle that was something like: "What the Left and the Right both get wrong about the war between the church and state" or "What liberals and conservatives are both missing in the debate between the god and government." Clearly my memory isn't what it used to be. I can't even remember what show I was listening to! I do know it was a long interview so it was likely not All Things Considered or Morning Edition.
I want to remember the name of the book. I've tried every flipping search I can imagine on Google and on Amazon. I'm hoping someone out there heard the same interview and can help a poor frazzled mom with a mind like a sieve. I know it's not technically Davis Sq. related, but I figure there are more NPR listeners per square foot than any other town....
Thanks.

I'm concerned about all the concern here! How about a little insensitivity?
You suck!

You mean, perfect as the second stop, in case it turns out to be a locally-produced show the people at npr_junkie might not know.
But I agree with "teele_sq". This is a community, and sometimes people in the community need to ask questions of each other. And it's much more informative than the folksy "community calendar" or classifieds-type posts that fill up this forum.
