16251 ballots cast, out of 51378 registered voters, a turnout of 31.6%.

Wow. That is a lot of incumbents to not get re-elected.

Turnout was huge. Connolly and Sullivan both got more votes than they have ever gotten before, and still lost.

I was trying to find the voter turnout for Woburn, but only found the patch saying it was 400 people. That has to be wrong.

Not sure why you're asking about Woburn, but their Patch article says "under 4,000".

Voter registration has increased from 46314 to 51378. That's interesting. A lot was in place last year for the Prez race, it seems. But still good.

Turnout in 2015: 6546 ballots cast.

More involvement, by a lot? In an off year that's kind of nice to see.
