... visit Havurat Shalom on Sunday night, December 25, at 5 pm for a Chanukah party. There will be "latkes, candle-lighting, music, and more."

Havurat Shalom is located at 113 College Avenue, just before Powder House Park as you're walking north from Davis.

For the health of those with allergies and chemical sensitivities, Havurat Shalom requests that people refrain from wearing perfume, cologne or aftershave.

Wait--no Chinese food? They're just throwing tradition out the window? :-)

It's Sunday - you can have traditional Christmas Dim Sum in the morning, then latkes once Chanukah starts when the sun goes down.

Incidentally, you might want to make this its own post. There may be people looking Chanukah activities that might not check the comments on a Christian service (not out of disrespect, but simply lack of interest).

Besides, this is going to make tagging a challenge. :-)

OK, I made a separate post about the Chanukah event.
