The Massachuesetts Democratic Party will be holding caucuses this Saturday, February 4th, in cities and towns across the commonwealth. You can find details about the time and locations on this website. Here in Somerville, there are meetings in each individual ward.

The midterm elections are only 9 months away. If you are interested in changing the course of the country, this is your chance to get involved.

So how exactly can I be voted into a position of power with the ability to subjugate my peers... easiest? I was thinking violent coup but if you all just bent before my will, that'd be peaches. :P

Well, I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you, which makes it all a bit, shall we say, counterproductive. Besides, I may or may not have designs on a naked power grab myself. There's plenty of prime real estate there for the taking.

Subjugation is kinda hard, but a position of influence is much easier than it seems. The upside of the generally unfortunate fact that such a pathetically small percentage of people actually do electoral politics, is that if you're one of the few who do, you can do a lot. You don't even need to be voted in to anything.

Though if you just want to find people to bend before your will, BDSM can be a lot of fun :)
