Wooden boxes?

Does anyone know someplace around here where I might be able to find small wooden boxes/crates (wine/liquor/cigar type boxes) for cheap/in bulk? I've found a couple here and there at Goodwill and the like, but I didn't know if there was some magical old wooden box repository somewhere.

Thanks!

would Downtown Wine or Robbins Tobacco get these as part of their shipments?

There's that tobacco/cigar shop on Mass Ave near Bartley's in Harvard Square and they sometimes have wooden cigar boxes.

The tobacconist in Harvard Square often has a box of cigar boxes they sell for cheap. It comes and goes so just check whenever you're in the Square.

Larger wooden boxes or crates are often at unfinished furniture places and I have a couple from Ace Hardware.

If you're willing to expand your search (and I'm hesitant to mention this after recent hostility to places outside DS), Capone's in Union Square and the Brazilian Casa de Carne pretty much always have stacks of wooden crates out for collection on trash day (try Thurs night).
