Support music students at McDonald's - Monday, April 30

Classical music and fast food are the themes of a fundraiser scheduled for Monday, April 30th from 4:00-7:00 PM at the McDonald's in Davis Square. Rita Rannucci and a parade of Somerville string (cello, violin, viola, etc.) students will entertain diners for the three hour period, in exchange for receiving a portion of net proceeds from the night.

All funds collected will support operating expenses associated with Somerville String Camp, a two-week program of instructional support, group lessons, and jamming for students of all ages and skill levels interested in playing stringed instruments. The two-week camp, held in July, will culminate in a performance done in concert with the students at Wind Camp.
