So much for my idea of seeing if you wanted a big pile of comics. I'm planning on thinning out the collection this summer and don't even know if a comic book store like Comicazi would be willing to come look it over and make an offer, or if it's just not worth the trouble and I should just give it all to someone.
When I first did a big purge 15 years ago, I called a bunch of stores but only one was willing to come look. Their offer was pretty lowball since my collection had a few really nice pieces in it, but this was pre-eBay so it was good enough.
FYI, Tony at Million Year Picnic off Harvard Square will buy trade paperbacks. Your best bet is to give him a typed list of what you have and ask if he wants any of it, rather than showing up on his doorstep with a bunch of stuff. Only talk to Tony, though... the other dude has no clue.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around. To me, it's like getting, free money, or something. This must be karma from all the comics I just put on Ebay to "reduce my collection". Heh.

From my boyfriend: Damn you for destroying the lovely feng shui and enabling our addiction. I hope you're happy.
