microscope slides

Does anyone know where to find blank microscope slides locally?

I know I can order them online, but local is (hopefully) faster.

Thanks!

Sounds like something the Museum of Science gift shop might carry.

Everything there is pretty gimmicky. I doubt they have any that are actually useful.

I actually found packs of microscope slides at the MOS gift shop about 9 years ago. As I recall, the packs were small and pricey, but I only needed a few for an art piece and didn't have time to special order.

Hmmm. Nowadays it's mostly hoberman spheres and monkeys with stretchy arms.

Monkeys with stretchy arms are DEFINITELY not as useful as microscope slides.

Fisher Scientific has pretty decent turn-around to - you'd probably have to register online, but it should be cheapish.
