If you live in Ward Seven, or if you have a Zone 1 parking permit (which, I guess may apply to people in other wards) don't forget to put your new resident parking sticker on your car.

On my drive this morning, I saw DOZENS of bright orange pieces of paper staring back at me on cars with the old sticker. The city is not giving any leniency in this matter, near as I can tell.

The cars with tickets that I saw had the GREEN resident stickers rather than the BLUE ones for 2008.

How about green AND blue stickers? I'm a little cheesed that the city wants us to remove the old stickers under the new policy; I always viewed it as a badge of honor to keep piling the stickers up in the back window.

Granted, they'll start obstructing the view out the front window in a few years, but still...
