In the spirit of Tom Champion ...
If you live in Ward Seven, or if you have a Zone 1 parking permit (which, I guess may apply to people in other wards) don't forget to put your new resident parking sticker on your car.
On my drive this morning, I saw DOZENS of bright orange pieces of paper staring back at me on cars with the old sticker. The city is not giving any leniency in this matter, near as I can tell.

Sticker numbers
And by the way, I CANNOT get my old sticker off. Any suggestions? Now that they're on the front windshield, they should really make them less adhesive. My work permit is really easy to take off and replace, so it is possible to provide easily removable stickers. Maybe that should go on the ballot this year.

You'd think they could invest just a tad more in easier to remove stickers considering the price to park has gone up $8 in 5 years. (and, like I said, no one has room on their windshields for all these stickers... maybe on back windows, but not windshields. In five years, imagine the accidents due to sticker obstructed views)

I thought I was being brilliant waiting with my 1 sticker till the end of January so I could get my new ward 2 sticker, but I was totally foiled and got a 6! $10 for only 6 months of parking for me.
