So close to home!!

I thought I saw something going in there and wondered what it was. Now I'll have to check it out!

I didn't say I saw it recently. ;)

I haven't had much need to go that way in a long time.

Mmm, George Howell, that's some seriously good coffee...

Sorry, 8pm? I complain that Diesel is ONLY open till midnight. Alas, it doesnt look like Ill be getting to this wonderful new place anytime soon.

There is a good chance owners of the Diesel would like to be open past midnight (I don't know them, so I can't be sure). They'd make more money, and they could catch the after club crowds of Friday and Saturday. However, Somerville city ordinance requires that businesses be open no more than 18 hours a day. If the Diesel were to stay open past midnight they would have to give up the lucrative morning coffee crowd.

Rock Lobster! That's the coolest news all day!

By the by, nice user icons, overstim and semiradgyrl.

Rock Lobster!? You're too funny. :)

I saw an ad for this and have been meaning to check it out. Being a freelancer/between projects means I sometimes need places to go to get me out of the house. ;) Being able to bring my laptop is a nice bonus (free! yay!).

And if you live nearby (north of Davis) you can probably buy a sandwich named after your street.

This is such a welcome addition to Ball Square. I love having it right across the street from home. When CVS moved out, I was in abject terror of a Starsucks invasion. Now there's something to fight back with if it happens. :-)

Good luck. That store front has been cursed for the three years I have been living in the area. In fact, there are a couple of cursed store fronts between the Chinese Restaurant and the bank.

Problem is there is no parking in that area, and lots of people in the adjoining neighborhood (behind the former CVS) gravitate to Davis (they walk there for the T, meet friends at one of the bars or coffee houses that way, etc.).

My suggestion is to advertise, and find all available public parking and include that in your ads. It helps that you have premium coffee. Maybe bring some free coffee to some key areas nearby to hook people in?
