Facial recommendation?

I'm thinking of getting a friend a facial for a b-day present.  Any recommendations for a place/person in/around Davis Square that is quality, friendly, won't lecture about skin care and won't try to push unwanted products on clients?

Thanks!

I absolutely love the Pyara Aveda salon in Harvard Square. Extremely clean and professional, and a very relaxing experience. They might casually recommend a few Aveda products, but I've never found them to be pushy.

I *third* that suggestion... not only are you getting royally pampered but the whole place smells so good you can't help but relax within the first 5 minutes.

I like http://www.breathespasomerville.com/ and it is right in Davis Square next to JP Licks

it is now called Spa Bella...

I echo the recommendation on Aveda. Best facials I've ever gotten in my life. They pamper you like crazy!

Skin & Body Works

I HIGHLY recommend Skin and Body Works, down Holland St. near Dave's Fresh Pasta. I've only ever gotten waxing done there, but Priscilla is wonderful, and amazingly affordable - my guess is it's less than Aveda, but that's just a guess. Judging from her reviews on Yelp, her facials are great too.

I also like Priscilla @ Skin and Body Works. I have not gone but I've heard that Salon Femia also on Holland is good for facials.
