Lost Dog

My friend Tina lost her dog Cleo at Tufts Field late last night.

Cleo is a two-year-old pit/beagle mix. She's very small, and she has a short, butterscotch-colored coat. Tina had let her off leash before the rain and thunder started, and after a big thunderclap Cleo ran away.

Animal control has been notified, and Tina has put up signs. If any of you see a dog matching this description, please let me know her whereabouts so I can pass the information along.

Thanks!

I'm so sorry -- at least she wasn't hit by a car. If you can, you might want to post a picture. I hope she is found soon.

Hopefully, your post might make other dog owners think twice about letting their dogs roam around without a leash -- outside of a dog run or other fenced in areas. You never know when a dog might get startled. It happens, unfortunately.

Poor scared, wet baby!
Does she have tags? Is she likely to allow strangers to approach, or will this make her bolt again?

Please keep us posted.

Was this dog at the park along Curtis or another part of Tufts? I've seen your signs but alas not the dog, but I know several people in the area I'll tell them to keep an eye out. Good luck.
