Posted with permission: Lost dog on Highland

This morning I was taking my dog out and a pup that I've seen before came up to sniff him. When I noticed the dog he got skiddish and walked off. I tried using my dog as bait as he didn't seem dog-shy but failed.

He is young - I'd say 2 or 3, toffee colored with white markings and very fluffy (yet scruffy). I know I saw him at least a month ago so he's a tough thing; if I get hold of him I'll bring him in.

Just wanted to spread the word. I'm sure he misses home.

This was at Highland and Cronwell St. a block from Cedar St.

Beat me to it, I was just going to suggest that.

That's the first thing I thought of, too.

No - we have a poster of Cleo someone stapled to the tree in front of mu building so I consulted that immediately afterwards. I will try the name 'Cleo' next time I see the pup just in case; but the hair was considerably longer and (though matted) fluffier. This dog reminds me of a large corgie.

I saw a pup meeting this same description just a few mins ago near the end of Regent st. in Porter square. Looking a bit thin. Has a red collar with heart-shaped tag but was totally uninterested in getting close enough to let me check the tag.

I've seen this dog on and off in the same area for months now, but have never successfully approached him nor gotten him to approach me for long enough. He doesn't match the description of any Lost Dog posters or announcements I've seen, and I tend to wonder if he lives in the area and his owner just lets him wander. Don't know.
