What to do during a snow emergency?

My plans for tonight got canceled due to the snow emergency and I was wondering what (if anything) is open in the Davis Square (or within walking distance) such as bars and restaurants etc.  Do the bars typically stay open?

I don't see why anything in Davis would close. A couple posts below yours, the Slutcracker show is going on as scheduled. If it's going on, so will the movies on the other 4 screens.

Johnny D's has live music almost every night, as does Toad in Porter Square.

That fateful night last December, I trudged up the hill to Rudy's in Teele Square! I can't think of anything better in a snowstorm than tacos and margaritas.

It's Massachusetts...nothing closes a bar around here!

Seriously, unless they lose power, they tend to stay open. Personally, I'm making a brisket and watching Hellboy 2.

All the bars and restaurants will be open.

The new restaurant on Broadway, Bread & Co, is open (and doing well today--bought a cheese pastel on my way home). They are not right in Davis, but they are on the 89 which stops at Powderhouse Square when it doesn't leave straight from Davis (it's about 1 1/2 miles from Powderhouse, towards Sullivan Square).

In my experience most stores & restaurants stay open unless the governor declares a snow emergency.

Individual ones might close if they have staffing issues, though.

I've seen local bars happily open in conditions far worse than this. Come the apocalypse, there will still be drinks for one and all.

I'm seriously getting cabin fever over here, lol
