Really good seamstress in the area?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a seamstress to make the dress I have in my head for me.  Has anyone had good experience with any locals in making a garment start to finish, from a description and/or pictures from you?

I tagged this "tailor".

Tailors and seamstresses have been a very popular topic of discussion in the past, but I'm not sure anyone has asked this specific question before. Most of the old posts are about alterations or repairs.

I think the only difference is gender.

I went to FSC for Fashion Design for 4 years and worked at the Boston Ballet for 2 1/2 years as a seamstress. A seamstress and a tailor both put the garments together and construct them. A tailor is more defined and specific to what the job is that they are doing. If you wanted a suitcoat made or a tuxedo jacket a tailor has studied it specifically and knows the correct way how to put it together. A seamstress can as well but a tailor specializes in it. A tailor can be of any gender and usually works on men and women's suitcoats and pants. A seamstress works on all types of garments and can construct a wedding dress and work from the ground up on a project that you are looking to have made. I hope this has helped!

Thanks. Putting on my moderator hat for a minute, I still think it's best to have only one tag of this kind in our community, rather than two overlapping ones.
