"Regular" waffles

This is possibly an odd request, but does anyone know of a restaurant that serves "traditional" waffles (the flat, usually square kind) rather than the ubiquitous Belgian? I've had a craving for, like, ...ever. Doesn't have to be specifically in Davis. Thanks.

specifically, on the south (west) side of Mass. Ave. near Beech Street.

there's also the IHOP on Soldier's Field Road.

If you want an IHOP there's a much closer one in Harvard Square.

I didn't know that. Where is it? I'm in Harvard Square fairly frequently, and I've never seen it. Either way, they unfortunately seem to be limited to Belgian Waffles.

I wonder if Z-Square has waffles? They have a lot of really good breakfast stuff.

EDIT: Damnit, they're gone now: http://www.thecrimson.harvard.edu/article.aspx?ref=526247

the one near the Charles Hotel?

It's on Eliot Street, sort of across and around the corner from Tanjore. It's open really late too -- 'til at least 2am, I think.

later than that even i think, but the one on soldiers field is always open, which is awesome. especially since i like to wait out the after club rush and avoid all of our too drunk future leaders of america :p

I think the Harvard Square IHOP is open until 4 AM. I couldn't find hours on their website.

Which is on Mount Auburn Street in Watertown, just past the cemetery.

Which is MADE of AWESOME. Ployes and Greek sausage are my indulgence of choice there, but I'm sure their waffles are good too.

Sound Bites. They're insanely good, too.

Supreme Kitchen has them but I wasn't impressed by them

Actually, I walked by Supreme Kitchen and double checked their menu. No waffles on the regular menu but I know I had some off their weekend special menu before.
