Nimah Market, a Bengali grocery, is now open

in half of the former Pemberton Market space at Mass. Ave. and Rindge Ave. (The other half is still vacant and for lease.) Hours are 7 am to 9 pm daily. Today was the store's first day of business.

Re: samosa to munch on

Just FYI, Farmer's Bounty right in Davis almost always has a tray of samosas for sale at the counter. I've never tried one, so I can't vouch for the yumminess factor, but they are there.

That's true! I should have said a different local place for samosas. Or other Indian snackfoods and quick meals. Homecooked tasty foods.

Have you been to Guru yet? It's up in Teele, almost at the Foodmaster, but they have takeout Indian meals and beautiful samosas, quick-like.
