framing shop

can anyone recommend--based on personal experience--a framing shop in the camberville area that does high quality framing without charging more than the work is worth?

thanks for any suggestions.

I have used a fantastic frame shop in Cushing Square, Belmont.
I can't remember the exact name, but if you are interested I can
certainly get it for you. It's not all that far away & is
accessible by the 71 Bus out of Harvard Sq.

A new shop called Big Picture Framing just opened at 2044 Mass Ave. in Cambridge, and they are running a grand opening sale, 50% off all jobs. I tried them out and was very pleased with the result.

I recently had something somewhat tricky to frame done at Corners in Porter Square and was very very pleased with the results. They're expensive but often running sales. Also I think I may still have a 50% off coupon for them which if you decide to go there and I find (recently moved) I am happy to send you.

I don't have any experience with local frame shops, but I've worked in several and might be able to offer some tips about what to ask for/expect/get away with.

It would require alot of space to explain, especially since I don't know what size piece you want to get framed or how extensive you want to get with the details (mat board, backing, etc.). Drop me a line if you'd like.
