A rainy night out

Now I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but I just spent a few hours at The SomeDay Cafe... and I just fell in love with that place. I sat down and just drank in the atmosphere, as well as the tea. I wrote a stream-of-consciousness entry into my little notebook o' stuff, and finished two Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire strips.
My only regret was making an ass out of myself in front of the girl at the counter.

"Hello. I'd like a cup of tea, please."
"Okay sir, but first you have to figure out what kind of tea you want, then hand me the bottle you want."
"Oh. Okay!"

Thirty seconds later...

"All right. I'd like a cup of jasmine tea, please."
"That's great, sir... but you need to hand me the bottle."
"........oh. Right."

Oh well.
It happens to the best of us.

Someday is great for mellow hanging out & tea, Deisel is great for more upbeat hanging out & coffee, and Blue Shirt kicks ass for smoothies and sandwiches. :)

haven't had a mellowed out, s.o.c., coffee/cafe-inspired session for some time. loved your strip though.....and feel so inclined to try it myself sometime soon for a little caffeine & observation (which generally=inspiration & motivation for yours truly!!! ;)

Btw

I really enjoyed your strip. Just went back and read the whole thing. How often do you update? :)
