THere is a repair shop in Ball Square that looks alright. I was going to post on here to chek out it's reputation.

Hillside Auto (http://www.hillsideauto.com/) in Magoun Square is very professional and friendly.

I love valvoline, I think they are like $40 or less and they check everything.

You can't go wrong at Aris Auto. Located on Somerville Ave on the corner of Craigie Street. Across from the car wash, near the intersection of Somerville Ave and Elm Street.

They will go out of their way to be fair in price and excellent in service. Use them for Oil Changes, Repairs of all kinds and while you are there fill up your tank with the lowest gasoline prices you will find.

I have been taking my car there for 13 years.
