Brunch reminder!

This is just a friendly reminder that we are meeting for brunch at Johnny D's tomorrow afternoon at 1pm. As I mentioned before, please get there 5 minutes early so we can go in right at 1pm and bring the cash monies in appropriate denominations :)

Climate Change as Spiritual Practice

Dear Neighbors,

At First Church Somerville, we're trying to be good neighbors to you and to the world. We've had a blower door test to see where the energy leaks are in our building and seal them up. As old bulbs blow out, we've changing over to more energy efficient bulbs. We hope to plant a vegetable garden in the spring with Havurat Shalom.

This weekend at First Church, we join the global community in calling attention to the need for climate action change. We believe we need to ask our city, state, and national governments to come to agreements, to make policies that limit and inhibit the poisons we put out into the atmosphere. We also understand that we as a congregation, as neighbors, as individuals we can make changes to our lives to live right sized on the earth.

We invite you to our services this Sunday at 10AM. Our way is Christian, and from that perspective, we will try to connect our spiritual practice to our ecological practice. Join us, if it pleases you. We'd be glad to have you.

Angelina's FAIL

Angelina's pizza used to be ok for no frills, thin crust pizza but it has really gone downhill. After 3 bad pizzas they have had the benefit of the doubt/mebbe bad night.

What is another shop for thin crust, @$12 for plain pie w/ delivery (not including tip) that delivers in the DS area?
