have you seen this candy?

i recently became obsessed with these, but now i can't seem to find them anywhere. i was getting them at the MIT star market but they no longer carry them.

i'm in arlington (by the capitol theater) and travel between here and central pretty often. calling places doesn't really work in this case since most people just give me a general "huh?" or think i mean regular sour patch kids, no matter how i stress otherwise.

i've checked the walgreens and cvs on either side of me on mass ave, broadway & mass ave convenience, foodmaster, the shaws at porter, as well as the cvs in fresh pond so far.

any help is appreciated to get me my candy fix, thanks!

eta: on closer inspection, it also costs more to order them online, even in bulk.

I haven't seen them around, but you can get a nearly-five-pound case for $22 plus shipping (http://www.foodservicedirect.com/product.cfm/p/185003/Cadbury-Adams-Sour-Patch-Xploderz-Soft-and-Chewy-Candy-6.5-Ounce.htm) from the internets.

fyi, things like amazon have no problem whatsoever accepting those visa/amex/mastercard cards that you can buy at shaw's for as little as $25. You can always buy one for cash for about what you want to buy, and toss it after.

at the porter square shaw's there's a 'gift card mall' on an endcap, at the front near the cashiers. It's pretty much at the center of the row. The selection changes from time to time but there are usually a couple credit card things.

You don't have a bank account? How do you get by without one, and why?

Have you tried the candy/tourist goods store in Harvard? (I think it's Hidden Sweets . . .)
They tend to have lots of unusual stuff. (I satisfied my nostalgia-tinged craving for Sixlets thanks to them.) And they might even know enough about their inventory to be able to answer intelligently over the phone.
