Does anyone know of a good place in the area to get a pedicure? Clean and safe (sterilizing tools between uses, etc.) is my first priority, followed by cheap and skilled.

I HAD THE SAME GIRL LAST WEEK!!!!! she's a total sadist, i left there totally sore. i thought i was just being a wuss.

except for her, the salon is great. everyone's nice, the manager (owner?) brings you hot tea and cookies while you're getting your pedi, and sometimes they'll have cheesy karaoke videos going on their big flat-screen tv. my girlfriends and i will usually go to joshua tree first for chocolate matinis, so that we're reeeeally relaxed for the manis and pedis. :)

Any advice on avoiding her? Is there someone in particular there who's good that I could ask for?
