Sophie RIP
Hi,
My wife Susan and I are sad to report that we had our dog Sophie put down last night after discovering that she had inoperable, late-stage cancer. We've been walking her twice a day for the past three years in the neighborhood (she especially loved the bike path between the Davis T and Cameron), so some of you may have seen us.

I am heartbroken for you. My dog loved the same path and she actually had the same diagnoses as your dog, just over a month ago......she never made it to her appointment, she passed away at home the night before....so I sort of know how you're feeling. I never thought I could be such a mess over a dog---but they have their way of getting into your heart and staying there. I hope you can remember all the good times you had with her and that you find peace in her memory...take care~
