Pictures in the Square

I thought that I would share these for you local types. My part-time job is bartending at the VFW behind the Winter Hill Bank (I'm a member there) and it's customary for me to get a couple of coffees before my shift on Saturday mornings at the Dunkin Donuts. While wandering over there from The Post this past Saturday, I took a couple of pictures and played around a bit.

The first is of two of my fellow vets who were collecting money for disabled vets, selling poppies in front of the McDonalds. The gentleman on the left is a Vietnam Vet and the one on the right is an 86 year old WWII vet. They happen to be two of my favorite people. They didn't notice me take these.

Here's the Rosebud in black and white and color.

I'm a total hack and not actually a photographer by any stretch as these show, but nevertheless, it's The Square.

Rocks.

I need to come by the post one of these days to get an application.
While I was "away" I unfortunately let my membership at the Dedham post lapse . . . and I don't live in Dedham anymore . . .

I will try to . . . I am brewing beer on Saturday, teaching my new 'prentice.

I was the youngest in my post in Dedham, at 30, in 02.

Thanks! Love the Rosebud black and white... makes one imagine how it must have looked back in the day (not that I have any idea how old it is...)
