OK, I've followed 4 different sets of instructions to make an LJ-cut and none worked. Just fix it if you can, or delete it if you see fit.

Your LJ-cut is fine. Remember that LJ will not display the cut to you when you look at the post by itself -- only when the post is on your friends-page or the davis_square community page.

The Facebook event page says that the show starts at 9 pm, so you may want to add that to your post.

(Community moderators can't fix other folks' posts, even to add LJ-cuts. We wish we could.)
