Got hit by the sideview mirror of a silver/bronze crysler(?) minivan with MA plates this morning around 8:20 while crossing the street between Downtown wine and spirits and Christo's pizza. It went out of its lane to hit me in the arm in the oncomming lane, and was inches from rolling me over the hood. Unfortunately I was too shocked to get its plates before it drove out of sight. So, just, be careful, and if you see a minivan with a folded down drivers side sideview get its plate number for me.

So sorry this happened to you. I've had a number of close calls at that intersection myself. Drivers coming up Elm and turning left onto Grove often do it very carelessly and way too fast - that's likely why the driver was in the wrong lane. Same thing with drivers turning onto Elm from Grove.

Though they won't actually do anything about it, you should report this to the police.
