Rug cleaners? Not ones that come to your home.

I have a small (about 3x5) wool rug that needs cleaning. It's small enough that I could take it to a cleaning place; it feels silly to call out the sorts of cleaners that come to your house. It's a very special piece to me - hand-woven by Bedouin women in Jordan - so I want to be careful with it. Would dry cleaners be able to handle something like this?

I use Regal Fabric Care in Woburn. You can drop stuff off or have them come pick it up. I would never use a dry cleaner for that, for a variety of reasons - not sure they can intelligently spot test; strongly doubt they have alternative chemicals if what they standardly use will damage the rug; and have had dry cleaners assure me items were safe for them to clean and have them come back ruined.
