Eyebrow shaping

I've decided that I really don't know what the hell I'm doing when it comes to my eyebrows, and I need help. Can anyone recommend somewhere cheap and close to Davis where they'll shape my eyebrows but also show me how to do it myself? Thank you!

I hate to be that asshole who answers with "not quite what you wanted", but Kristen at Pyara in Harvard Sq is really not to be beat. She isn't cheap ($25), but she is a wizard, and especially for someone who needs guidance, she will shape your brows and explain in great detail how to maintain them yourself. Especially as this is something you seem to want as a one-off, it's well worth the price to go to her and have her shape them for you to give you a framework to work from.

I've never asked her to give me a play by play but I'd be shocked if she wouldn't. She's meticulously done my brows for 5 years and answered every and any question I've posed in great detail (like how to maintain my arch between visits!)

Svetlana at A-Skin Care Salon in Harvard Square (in the Garage building) is excellent with eyebrows ($20), as with everything else. She has been my go-to person for spa services for the last 9 years.

I go to Priscilla at Skin and Body Works right in Davis - I'm not sure what my eyebrows alone cost there as I get other things done at the same time. She's quick, painless and very professional

Linda! I love her. I get my brows done ($12) and then every few months my brows start to get unruly and I make another appointment. I'm not really interested in learning how to do anything other than plucking obviously stray hairs myself.

Yep, I adore Linda! Never asked her for tips, but I don't see why she wouldn't give them.

I've been out of the neighborhood for a year, so I don't know if she's still there, but Trinity at Beauty Spa (Mass Ave between Harvard and Porter) was always excellent and super-reasonably priced. I think it was about $12-15.

Looks like you have plenty of more current recommendations, but I thought I'd throw in this one if others are looking. :)

Thanks so much for asking this! I have been meaning to and keep forgetting. Thanks to everyone for your recommendations!
