World of Beer has withdrawn its application for a liquor license

according to an e-mail I just got from Ward 6 Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz. So there is no need to attend tonight's Licensing Commission hearing unless you want to support or oppose one of the other applicants (such as Aguacate Verde).

If they want to sell alcohol, I hope they start salting the food*. This will both taste better and encourage drinking.
