The store is in Somerville (though very near the Cambridge line)

I posted that only because you have 'Cambridge' in the subject line.
Specifically, it's at the corner of Beacon and Oxford streets.

I can't even begin to understand why you appear to be trying to shoot down helpful facts here. Not everyone's gonna click through to the website.

Yeah ok, this is actively offputting. You may want to consider how your actions affect the promotion of this store before digging yourself in further here.

Look, you posted on a Somerville-based discussion group. If anything, mentioning that it is in Somerville defends the post being made to the community, which is NOT purposed for Porter Square, Cambridge. Moreover, people can comment with whatever they want to, they have no requirement to add helpful information to your promotional post.

and when I did click through to it, I found it was not fully baked.

Is it common for someone to only work on the bikes they sell?

Since she's only selling specialty bikes, I think it makes sense - she might be willing to work on the same model she sells even if the person didn't buy from her. Also folks with those bikes sometimes have a harder time finding repair shops that know what to do with their bikes, so she could be reserving her repair hours for people who might not have as many other options (since this shop is definitely meeting a growing niche need).

That explains how you missed my post in late May (http://davis-square.livejournal.com/3203192.html) about this store. Ha-ha!
