Phone repair?

I just broke the screen on my shiny new Nexus 5, and I'm embarrassingly heartbroken about it. I've never had to repair a smartphone before--any recommendations? I'm sorry if there's been prior discussion of the question--I browsed through the tags looking for anything that might be relevant, but nothing jumped out at me.

Mega Mobile in downtown Boston is the best place for it that I've found; fast and fair.

I would go with a repair place for sure; if you look up the procedure on youtube you will see it is not easiest process. Though I have no other places to recommend- though I must ask do you have a warranty or insurance still on the phone?

iGear Universe, just north of Teele on Broadway, good yelp reviews and they were helpful to me (about an asus android tablet, despite their name).

If you paid for it using a credit card, you may have damage insurance. Some CC companies do have that sort of thing - check your cardmember agreement.

There's also a place in Harvard, right by Oonas, that does screen repairs on smart phones.

Just wanted to update this post: I went to the place by Oona's to have a screen replacement for an iPhone 5. It was pricey ($120 + tax), but only a little more than iGear Universe (the Teele Square place), and better Yelp ratings, plus they picked up the phone when I called (iGear Universe did not). Good experience, very professional, finished in less than an hour. Works great.

I'd go back - hope I won't have to though!
