Free Cat Food!

Hi team,

We have a rather large collection of kitty food that is going to go uneaten (kitties are on a special diet). Would someone like to come along to Ball Sq and pick it up?

The collection includes about 10 lbs of Meow Mix in an opened bag (nothing wrong with it as far as we can tell), an unopened 20 lbs bag of the same, and two and a half boxes of single-serve Meow Mix wet food.

You might consider donating to an animal shelter (I know there is the one at Medford? that sometimes advertises at Somerville Open Studios). They would probably love the unopened stuff and might take the opened stuff. You could also ask your vet. Sometimes they will take the stuff and pass it on to someone in need. (My kitty doesn't eat those brands ...)

Derp derp, that's a great idea, why didn't we think of that?. In fact I'm visiting a shelter on Thursday. I just called and they'll take the unopened bag of dry food for the feral team. Thanks for the idea!
