need a new primary care physician

Alas, Dr. Hobbs of Harvard Vanguard/Davis is retiring in June. After working my way through a few other PCPs that did not meet my needs (I'm being polite), I found Dr. Hobbs and have had a great partnership with her for a number of years. Can anyone recommend a PCP at HV/Davis that is competent, kind, listens, is not condescending, etc.?

I may be misremembering, but I believe there is a Dr. Anil Gullapalli at Harvard Vanguard. I used to see him when he was at a private practice in Arlington. Warm and friendly, into technology, to say nothing of the fact that he found my cancer during a routine physical. I definitely recommend him.

You're not misremembering - I saw that name on the signage when I was at HV recently.

I really like Dr. Carole Vincent.

I'm in the same boat - I loved Dr. Hobbs! I was so sad to receive her retirement letter as she was the first primary care I've had in this area who I was comfortable with.

Avoid Dr. Angel at HV. One of the worst PCPs I've ever dealt with.

I have him, haven't had concerns, though I rarely have a reason for an appt. What are the broad areas of concern to watch out for?

When I saw him, he may have been having a bad day; he was very rude, dismissed my health concerns as being trivial, implied I was wasting his time, and ended the visit by saying, "Is that all? Fine," and walked out. Didn't give me a good first impression.
