Tuxedo Rental

If you wished to rent a tuxedo for a very small amount of money in the Cambridge/Somerville area, where would you do so? And, at the place that you have in mind, what exactly would you spend to rent it for a 24-48 hour period?

At Keezer's, if you're willing to put up with moderately smelly polyester, you can get a tux with shoes, cufflinks, studs, and cummerbund for $65. You get it for 4 days.

To expand on this - I didn't notice anything "moderately smelly" nor anything overly polyester about it, but you do sort of need to be willing to go with "what have you got in my size at the moment?" That's only a problem if you're trying to particularly match three groomsmen or something, though, and even then they get darn close.

Oh, and for only another $10-15 (I've forgotten), you can get tails.

Go with Keezer's. Definitely.

The only tux they had in my size was polyester (nice and scratchy) and the whole place definitely smells like mothballs, and after a few hours of wearing the tux, I did too. Of course, if they need mothballs, there must be some non-polyester suits in there...
