Saint Meows Cambridge

Hey all-

I am wondering if any of you have pursued in home pet sitting or had some experience with St. Meows in Cambridge? We are considering utilizing their pet sitting services. I wondered if anyone had some experience and what they thought? We have thus far been very impresssed with them and really like the idea of someone coming to the house along with the money we pay benefitting the shelter. Feeback/comments are appreciated.

Thanks again!

Heidi

My best friend at work [livejournal.com profile] mpepper LOVES them. She adopted her cat from them, donates lots of money to their work and used them exclusively. I'd recommend them highly, or you can ask her direct.

Saint Meows is FANTASTIC!
We adopted our cats from them a year and a half ago, and the staff still remember us, and our cats, by name whenever we see them. They're a wonderful group of people with realy well-cared for cats!
We've used the couple who run Saint Meows as a cat-sitting service twice with excellent results, they're really careful & respectful, and spent hours playing with our cats, plus watered plants, took in mail, etc.

Do they come to your home and do visits?
What do they charge? Thanks!!

Yep, they came to our house daily to check in on the cats, and they spend so much time with them too!
I believe we paid them $15 per day, but their website is likely a better source of information than I am: http://www.saintmeows.com/petsitting.html (http://www.saintmeows.com/petsitting.html).
Looks like they're booked for the holidays now, though.

my then-boyfriend used to work at the petco in cambridge. St. Meows would come in once a week with some cats for a kitty meet-n-greet to try and find the cats new owners. I would often go on those days to hang out and meet the kitties and talk to the st. meows people. they folks who run the place are amazing. so kind and sweet and unbelievably generous. the cats are always happy and healthy and i would definitely trust my little guy with them. No questions asked.
And yes, the money would be going to such a great cause!
