green cab noob

has anyone here used the green cabs to get to logan at weird hours? i'm just going to call them tomorrow morning and ask for a cab to be at my house at 5am on saturday -- are they dependable for that sort of thing or no? i only ask because i've been flaked out on by cabs before.

thanks for any input.

[edit] wow, thanks everybody for the quick responses!

They are awesome and I have never had a problem. I haven't used them for logan, but I've gone some pretty random places during the 5-7am zone and can vouch that it was always a pleasure.

i caught a green cab to logan at 4am, my alarm didn't go off and they still waited while i changed out of my jammies.

I've taken them in and out of Logan (to and from Teele Sq.) at weird hours - flight was cancelled at 11pm and I had to catch one wicked early the next day. They were wonderful.

Do the 5(ish) am to Logan ALL THE TIME. Green Cab is awesome (always order the evening before.)

We've taken Green Cab to Logan before the crack of dawn quite a few times. We always reserve the cab the night before, and it has always shown up as scheduled (in fact, usually a few minutes early).

I've always called Metro Cab the night before for my 5am logan trips. They've been on time too, and they take credit cards (just make sure you ask for a credit card cab when you call).

I've used them for trips to Logan, but I also hold a soft spot in my heart for them after leaving my cell phone in one of their cabs last night because when I called about it, the dispatcher tracked down the driver, made arrangements for me to get the phone back, and followed up by calling me to let me know. Awesome.

Go green or go home

I love Green Cab. They'll come get you from Logan too, but you have to wait on the departure deck.

Well, there's already the crazy cabstand at Logan, at least at the delta terminal

Yes, and Green Cab is cheaper than the Boston cabs, and they are less likely to try to take you through the Ted to get to Somerville.
