Election in Somerville next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, September 25, Somerville will hold a preliminary election. Voters citywide will choose a candidate for Mayor. Residents of Ward 6 (the area around Davis Square) will also choose a candidate for ward alderman. Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm. This page will tell you where to vote, and what ward you live in.

Three candidates are running for each of these offices. The top two finishers next week will move on to the general election on November 6.

Thanks very much for all the data. I gotta say, neither Bremer nor Scirocco comes off sounding very good in most of that coverage. Looks to me like Joe C is a lock.

No kidding. Bremer comes across as nice and idealistic-minded but with little idea of how to make things actually work.

Scirocco, meanwhile, comes across as a crazy person who maybe should have had someone working for his campaign fill out the questionnaires for him.

So, basically the same thing in person as in writing. :)
