Wah wah street sweeping

I got a street sweeping ticket. I have to verify this, but I think that the sign says it begins at 8:30AM on this street. If my ticket was issued at 8:28, think I would have a shot of appealing?

All the signs I've ever seen say that street sweeping starts at 8

Watch out, some of them start at midnight, like on Broadway. (at least near the Powderhouse Rotary.)
