unsubscribing from thursday ads/junk mail?

I know there are services that will take your name/address off junk mail lists,but does anyone know if there's a way of not getting the bundle of ads and coupons and whatnot that come every Thursday?

Answered, thanks! Apparently you can unsubscribe by filling out the "Have you seen me?" missing kid postcard, which also cleverly has unsubscribing information on it.

Call me crazy, but I'd prefer they kept people employed by actually having real mail get where it's supposed to go.

Presumably there isn't enough of that anymore to keep the majority of postal workers employed.

Got that; just attempting a joke about there being such little mail and still having mail screwups all the time.

I wonder how much more it would cost to employ all those people on the first class mail service trying to make that more efficient and reliable rather than having them all sending me stuff I don't want.
